Senior Policy Officer

Chandler Macleod are seeking aSenior Policy Officer to join our client for a full time 3 month temporary assignment with potential extension based in East Melbourne with some work from home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:


Lead research, consultation, and briefing projects to inform government actions.Engage with stakeholders across government, industry, and the community.Provide timely policy advice and prepare high-quality written reports.Stay informed on trends in energy efficiency policy, both locally and internationally.Foster inclusive and culturally safe environments.To be suitable for this role you will have: Experience in public sector policy development and regulatory reform.Knowledge of energy efficiency in buildings and the residential sector.Relevant tertiary qualifications in policy, economics, engineering, science, or law.Strong skills in policy development, critical thinking, and stakeholder engagement.Excellent communication and persuasion abilities.
