As a member of the team you will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to work on a series of allocations and radiocommunications policy matters, including our high value spectrum auctions.The role offers the opportunity to synthesise and communicate complex legal and technical issues in plain English for a range of audiences. You will work closely with a range of subject matter experts across the ACMA and liaise and engage with industry stakeholders and government agencies like the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.We are seeking an experienced and motivated senior policy officer with policy, regulatory, economics and/or legal experience. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced regulatory policy professional, who is adept at synthesising evidence to develop balanced, timely strategic advice. Essential to the role is the ability to synthesise and communicate complex legal and technical issues in plain English to a range of audiences, to collaborate effectively and nurture professional relationships, and to manage timelines as part of larger projects.
