Senior Policy Officer

Full time The successful candidate will support the development, maintenance and implementation of IM/ICT policy and standards integrated with Enterprise Architecture, corporate governance and all business as usual activities.
Role responsibilities: Facilitate the maintenance, monitoring, reporting and implementation of Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture. Support governance maturity uplift activities including policy compliance attestations, ICT/IM policy community of practice; and policy induction activities. Maintain effective working relationships by communicating, consulting and negotiating with Department of Health senior management, ICT industry and health care professionals. Provide authoritative, expert and timely analysis, advice, options and recommendations in relation to IM/ICT policy, standards, governance and process improvement. Key Capabilities, Knowledge and Experience: Proven skill in the development, maintenance and implementation of IM/ICT policies and standards. (SFIA Skill IRMG: Level 5) Proven ability to prioritise, organise and implement resource and work schedules for operational and project work to achieve desired outcomes and to meet deadlines. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyse and resolve business process, policy and governance issues. Demonstrated communication skills to develop briefs, submissions, presentations and reports. Negotiation and facilitation skills to build relationships and networks with stakeholders.
