The position also provides high-level advice regarding legislation and policy to the Executive of the department and to the Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Management.Period of Appointment 2 YearsHours per fortnight 73.50 HoursDuties Support the development and review of legislation and policy relevant to the objectives of the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM). The position also provides high-level advice regarding legislation and policy to the Executive of the department and to the Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Management.Pre-Employment ChecksThe Head of the State Service has determined that a person nominated for appointment to this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
