This position contributes to the efficient and effective operation of the Public Trustee by, reviewing, updating, and developing policy and procedure in line with internal Policy Framework review recommendations. Providing policy and procedural advice to the Senior Leadership Group, including the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer across the full suite of the organisations' Policy and Procedures.

Period of Appointment ASAP for 12 months
Hours per fortnight 73.50 hours per fortnight- flexible options available.
Duties Provide expert Policy services in support of the review, development and implementation of an effective Policy Framework that aligns with the future direction of the Public Trustee and is compliant with relevant legislation. Provide authoritative policy advice, which enable and support the achievement of the Public Trustee's strategic objectives and delivery of outcomes. Provide high level advice in relation to the interpretation of legislation relevant to the Public Trustee and the services provided. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in the development of policy and procedure for the organisation. Conduct research into emerging legal and policy issues such changes to the Guardianship and Administration Act 1995 and other relevant legislation and maintain a watching brief on issues, trends and best practice and provide advice and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Group and Board of Directors.
