The VCAA is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian students birth to 18 years.
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Senior Secondary Certificate Reform Division fixed term full-time position until 31 December 2025.
Fixed term role in a passionate team Usual work location: East Melbourne (flexible work conditions maybe/are available) About the Division The Senior Secondary Certificate Reform Division was established to lead a generational reform agenda in response to the 2020 Review into Vocational and Applied Learning Pathways in Senior Secondary Schooling.
These reforms collectively support all Victorian secondary students to pursue high-quality and valued vocational pathways aligned to their strengths and interests and to finish schooling with the skills and capabilities they need for success in further education, training, work, and life.
Role Purpose The Senior Policy Officer will play an important role in the implementation of new and existing policies and programs that support vocational and applied learning pathways within the Senior Secondary Certificate Reform division.
The successful candidate will work with colleagues in the VCAA and DE. Key responsibilities will include strategic policy, project planning, management and reporting, program delivery, governance, stakeholder engagement, communications.
