Policy, Planning & Regulation, Government - State (Government & Defence)
This role provides an opportunity to use your strong policy, communication and stakeholder engagement skills to contribute to a significant, interesting and challenging program of priority initiatives with a state-wide and national impact.
Some of your responsibilities will include: Identifying, researching and analysing policy issues, drawing on information from diverse or previously untapped sources.Developing policy advice and/or recommendations that use evidence, reflect good practice nationally and internationally, respond to government priorities and strategic directions and contribute to improved road safety for the community.Researching and preparing a range of complex documents, including Cabinet submissions, options papers, reports, briefing notes, public discussion papers, sensitive correspondence and action plans.Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders in other TMR business areas, other government agencies (Commonwealth, state and local), academia, industry and the community.Reviewing and analysing legislation and assisting with the progression of any required legislative amendments.Some of the additional benefits this opportunity offers include: Work and Life balance, including 'flex time' and flexible work arrangements and a working from home option.Beautiful City location close to the Brisbane Botanical Gardens with just over a 10-minute walk from Central Station.Work with a supportive team, with a high level of training and development invested in each staff member.Generous leave and superannuation.For more information on the full list of responsibilities, requirements of the role and how to apply for this exciting opportunity, please read the Role Description with the Applicant Guide.
