Senior Podiatrist - Orthopaedic Podiatry Triage Clinic, Queensland HealthManage a varied and complex caseload of patients through the Orthopaedic Podiatry Triage Clinic (OPodTC), providing conservative, non-surgical management to patients on an orthopaedic outpatient waitlist at The Prince Charles Hospital.
About the role This role will manage a varied and complex caseload of patients through the Orthopaedic Podiatry Triage Clinic (OPodTC), providing conservative, non-surgical management to patients on an orthopaedic outpatient waitlist at The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH).The role incumbent will provide clinical leadership to contribute to service development, quality activities and research.About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Utilise high-level clinical skills, knowledge, and independent professional judgement to manage a varied and complex musculoskeletal and biomechanical caseload, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.Develop effective professional relationships with patients and other healthcare providers in the multidisciplinary team to influence clinical outcomes.Apply high-level knowledge and skill to provide advice and communicate, in both verbal and written formats, with colleagues and clinical partners regarding the clinical care of patients.Enhance clinical practice, knowledge, and expertise within the clinical speciality through active learning within the team and by engaging in both formal and informal professional development.Utilise high-level communication skills to re-engage positive teamwork; build and maintain a positive workplace culture.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role as a valuable member of the Metro North workforce, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
