Senior PM Oracle (Business Analyst with strong Utilities domain experience)Job Description for Senior PM Oracle (Business Analyst with strong Utilities domain experience) in Perth. As part of the Customer Corporate Enablement Portfolio in the Digital division, we are looking to implement and run an Oracle Platform subscription project. The intent of the project is to upgrade the Market Systems to the current long-term support release of Oracle, 19C, and migrate all Oracle Enterprise databases to an on-premise Oracle Cloud subscription (private cloud appliance). The project aims to minimize customer operational costs associated with the Oracle platform, upgrade critical Market System databases to a supported version of Oracle, and improve compliance with customer policies endorsed by the customer Security team.
The project will include the reduction in hardware managed, the upgrade of the Oracle Platform, and maintenance by the customer. It will also enable the ability to scale for short-term workloads without procuring additional hardware or software, cease the expense of the overprovisioned hardware required for current architecture, and address multiple security policy shortfalls within our current delivery model. The ideal candidate will have strong project management acumen and experience in running similar Oracle projects and upgrades.
Responsibilities: Define, manage, and control the Lifecycle project to ensure that quality, cost, and time requirements are met, often involving complex technical aspects.Coordinate demand and co-present Lifecycle (end of life) infrastructure or application initiatives for approval to the relevant delegation of authority.Consult and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and that stakeholder expectations are well defined and met.Develop and maintain procedures (e.g., Project Management Plan (PMP), policies, and controls) to facilitate the achievement of key milestones within the project.Provide regular executive-level status reports, communications, and advice on the project, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders, escalating through appropriate channels where required.Evaluate the project and provide feedback to key stakeholders on benefits achieved and opportunities for improvement as part of driving continuous improvement across the business. #J-18808-Ljbffr
