Your key duties will include preparing high-level correspondence, ministerial briefings, letters, memos and reports; processing planning applications for compliance with the relevant Planning Scheme and statutory requirements, and representing the Department in proceedings of the DCA, the NTPC and the NT Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Your deep understanding of urban planning principles, and your ability to analyse and navigate complex regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, will be invaluable to the team.To be successful, you are required to hold a degree or diploma qualification related to Land Use Planning, have eligibility for admission to corporate membership of the Planning Institute of Australia; and demonstrated recent experience in dealing with a wide range of land use, land capability and development planning issues.
