Senior Planner – Minor Works and Maintenance Closing Date: 27th November, 2024 Join the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne Dynamic work environment and collaborative team culture Comprehensive learning and growth opportunities About the role The Senior Planner – Minor Works & Maintenance will be a valued member of the Facilities & Maintenance Services (F&MS) Minor Works team.
The Senior Planner plays a critical role in planning, organising, and delivering minor works projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, operational needs, safety and regulatory requirements.
This role is integral to the successful execution of facility upgrades, maintenance activities, and minor construction works, particularly within complex environments.
The purpose of the F&MS Minor Works team is to directly support the Health Service to achieve its clinical and non-clinical obligations.
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
Recognised engineering or suitable trade qualification is a must.
Recognised qualifications in project management and extensive experience in planning minor works, facilities maintenance, including compliance with statutory and organisational policy requirements (e.g., Procurement Rules).
This should include a good understanding of Risk Management.
Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling and coordination in a health environment or similar industry.
Demonstrated experience with diagnostic methods such as, life cycle maintenance analysis, condition assessments, reporting on identified issues and engaging in remedial plans to improve performance and reliability of assets.
Demonstrated experience with MS Office suite and the ability to prepare detailed briefs, projects plans and provide project status and expenditure reports in a number of different formats.
Employment Type: This is a two-year Fixed term part time opportunity (0.8 FTE) 32 hours per week.
