Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.Job DescriptionAbout the Opportunity:Having recently been awarded the ANI Link Road project and an ECI with SA Water, the South Australian region of Acciona Construction Australia is undergoing significant growth and we are looking for a Senior Planner to join our Adelaide team.As a Senior Planner you will produce a program for the activities for civil engineering construction projects during the tender, delivery, and completion phases of projects which also involves scheduling, reviewing of project progress against the baseline project program and reporting as and when required.Key accountabilities for the position:Management and production of programs developed from first principles using the project scope of works, design documentations and project delivery strategies.Coordinate internal and external stakeholders input to develop accurate project programsAssigning plant, labor, and materials resources into the project program and producing histograms and s-curves to support the project controls processConverting tender / bid program into the contract master programDevelopment of the program management plan and all other program supporting documentationManage time-risk and time-opportunities and responsible for project schedule risk analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) and the allocation of time contingency into master programRegular site visits and record the progression of the project worksProgress updates and reporting on the project program in consultation with the relevant stakeholdersAssist with the identification and application of approved and non-approved changes to the programme and analyse cause and effect from such changesRequired Skills and CompetenciesSkills and Capabilities we are looking for:Planning experience in a construction/engineering environment.Ability to multi-task and demonstrate sound judgment, including balancing competing prioritiesIn-depth knowledge of P6, project scheduling and program logic networking.Demonstrable understanding of design engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning methodologiesA focus on communication and ability to build working relationshipsStrong problem solving / analytical skills.What we offer:Excellent remuneration on offer including an annual bonus programExtensive additional employee benefits including salary packaging, free insurance*, 3 months parental leave and much more.So if you want to come join us and help build a better future - Apply now!
