EPM Projects is seeking to fill a town planning consultancy role, and is looking for a driven, dynamic and passionate individual to be part of a hybrid-model team with genuine career development opportunities and competitive salary options.

The Position:We are excited to be filling a planning consultancy role that could fit a range of experienced applicants.
You will be:
Involved in a range of projects as part of our teamAttending meetings and providing advice to clientsReceiving and providing mentoring to ensure knowledge and skills are sharedGrowing your skills through external training and internal sharing with your colleaguesExpanding your planning experience and pursuing professional interestsExperience with education, health and aged care development is desirable.
Planners with 5-8 years' experience can apply for the Senior Planner role, and will be accountable for a variety of work, including but not limited to:
Driving the delivery of projects to completion and managing client and authority expectationsReviewing site constraints, development opportunities, permissibility and other relevant factorsPreparation of planning advice and provision of planning services for projects in NSW, including projects under local and State legislationUnderstanding, interpreting and advising on the procedures and requirements of councils and state agenciesPreparation of planning documents including Planning Due Diligence Assessments, Statement of Environmental Effects, Modification Reports, Review of Environmental Factors, Environmental Impact Statements, Social Impact Statements, Staging Reports, Planning Proposals, and other relevant reports and assessmentsInteraction with clients, local and state agencies, consultants and other stakeholders relevant to delivering the aboveAttending, leading and recording meetings with clients and government authoritiesThis position will report to and work with the Planning Senior Leadership Team.
The hybrid model of the team will involve work balanced between home and office (Chatswood CBD).
Planners from outside of the greater Sydney region within NSW are encouraged to apply, and will be well supported in this flexible team that embraces digital work environments, including support for travel and accommodation as required throughout the year.
A full time position are being sought but submissions for part time / flexible positions (3+ days, min 7 day fortnight) will be considered.
The Person:We are looking for a self-motivated professional with the following:
