Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Town Planner to join their dynamic team in the inner CBD suburbs of Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education or medical planning, with a proven track record of over 5 years in the field. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to the sustainable development of urban areas.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage town planning projects with a focus on educational and medical clients and projects. Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and prepare detailed planning reports. Develop and implement planning strategies that align with local and state regulations. Liaise with clients, government agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Provide expert advice on zoning, land use, and development applications. Prepare and present proposals at public hearings and community meetings. Mentor and support junior planning staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in urban planning. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Town Planning, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in town planning, with a focus on educational or medical projects. In-depth knowledge of NSW planning legislation and policies. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in planning software and tools. Preferred Skills: Experience in managing large-scale planning projects within the inner CBD suburbs. Demonstrated ability to handle complex regulatory and compliance issues. Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution. Membership or eligibility for membership with the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA). How to Apply:
