Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Planner to join a vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and residential planning, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage planning applications and appeals for a variety of commercial and residential projects. Provide strategic planning advice to clients, ensuring all projects align with local and national planning policies. Conduct site appraisals and feasibility studies to assess development potential. Coordinate and liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams. Prepare and present reports, planning statements, and other relevant documentation. Mentor and support junior planners, fostering their professional development. Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Town Planning or a related field. Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or eligibility for membership. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning role, with a focus on commercial and residential projects. Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policy.
