RPS has an outstanding opportunity for a permanent full-time Senior Planner to join our Brisbane team based in Fortitude Valley .Our South-East Queensland planning team is the largest within RPS nationally, and is involved with a range of complex and innovative projects across Queensland and further afield. We're looking for someone that will challenge themselves to find solutions and work collaboratively within a diverse team. Join our team for the opportunity to work in a stimulating and supportive work environment amongst a team of dedicated, pragmatic and influential planning industry experts.Your ImpactYou will have a focus on assisting with the day-to-day running of planning projects under minimal supervision, including but not limited to:Reviewing the development potential of sites and providing due diligence advice;Preparing a wide variety of development applications in a range of locations including renewables, residential master planned communities, retirement communities and infill projects; Liaising with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities regarding development and planning issues;Assisting with other RPS planning services including: strategic advice, policy review, project coordination and allied approvals; andAssisting clients to implement approval outcomes.What you need to succeed Bachelor of Planning or equivalent planning qualifications as recognised by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).Demonstrated minimum of 3 years post qualified experience (private sector preferred). Demonstrated understanding of the Queensland planning system.What's on OfferAlong with a competitive salary, RPS provides a diverse and inclusive work environment.
