We are currently recruiting a Senior Piping Layout Engineer for a Global Oil & Gas Operator in Perth CBD on a 12 month contract with potential to extend past this.Key Responsibilities:Support the Lead Engineer with development and presentation of submissions to Company Internal Technical Authorities and Operations Engineering to gain alignment of proposals or approvals for elements such as technical deviations, new design items not covered by existing specifications.Perform assessment of stress analysis and/or piping vibration analysis undertaken by FEED/Design Contractor and provide comment/correction and execute document review workflow for allocated deliverables.Support design interface and integration for all piping design and plot layout matters for new infrastructure / plant and all Brownfield works for the client, including assessment of Operational Access, maintainability, and other HFE obligations in accordance with Company standards and specifications.Support with technical input for piping design and plot layout matters to the development, issue and clarification stages of the execute contract ITT including all relevant specifications and standards and Approved Vendor List.Expedite piping design and plot layout documentation delivery to meet the required schedules by users (i.e., Project Team, Contractors, vendors, etc.).Perform assessments of proposed piping material specifications as required.Qualifications, skills & experience required:Experience in piping systems and plot layout design in Oil and Gas industry, with a background in gas processing and LNG facilities engineering with brownfield scope elements.Experience with module fabrication and management of piping stress during module transportation is a plus.Experience in FEED and detailed design delivery; preferable to have worked in an engineering design office at some stage in career.Familiarity with Australian statutory codes and standards for piping systems and associated infrastructure used in oil and gas environments.Familiarity with technical assurance plans (including key engineering codes and standards) and processes for managing design change or review and approval of deviations and exemptions.Contact: E: ****** AU working rights required.With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
