Physiotherapy involves a holistic approach to the prevention, assessment and therapeutic management disorders of movement or optimisation of function to enhance the health and welfare of the community.
CQ Health offers a comprehensive Physiotherapy service across the lifespan to support patients through their acute hospital admission, recovery following discharge or when accessing other specialist outpatient services.
Our Physiotherapists work in hospital and community facilities across Gladstone, Biloela, Emerald, Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton regions.
About the role:The Senior Physiotherapist delivers high level Physiotherapy services of a varied nature to patients of the Rockhampton Hospital and other client groups of Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).
This position is required to exercise a high level of independence and represent Physiotherapy on relevant committees or portfolio(s).
Clinical practice will be related to the assigned senior caseload but will also remain flexible to ensure the focus of service delivery remains on delivering patient-centred and time-appropriate care.
Senior caseloads will include the provision of services to acute, sub-acute and out of hospital care for each service area as required.
About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Appointment to this position requires mandatory possession of a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).High level of knowledge, skills, and clinical expertise in physiotherapy pelvic health service provision.Demonstrate active participation in continued professional development and ability to lead the identification, implementation and evaluation of research and/or high-quality service improvement initiatives.Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to consult and negotiate with clients, external stakeholders, and staff at all levels of the organisation.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a.
