Seeking a Senior Physiotherapist Outpatient Rehabilitation to provide and maintain optimal specialist physiotherapy services within the Northern region of Tasmania, in addition to providing professional guidance and support to level 1-2 Physiotherapists and support staff.
Details of Appointment: Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight until 31 January 2026 (notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant).
Minimum Requirements: Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Physiotherapy Board of AustraliaRegistered with the Physiotherapy Board of AustraliaThis important role will see you working within John Cannell's Neuro-Rehabilitation team in an outpatient setting, providing tailored, goal-based, time-limited care to clients requiring single discipline physiotherapy.
This role encompasses a wide variety of client presentations and specializes in neurorehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, falls and balance, spinal cord injuries, and amputee conditions.
Professional Development: $1,000 per annum entitlement for professional development course fees.
Benefits available to eligible candidates: Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata), and study assistance leave if eligible.Fitness Passport – Access to 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria as listed above.
