Where you'll be workingRoyal North Shore Hospital Physiotherapy OPD Department What you'll be doingWorking at RNSH supported by Specialist MSK Physiotherapists and excellent Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) teams, delivering care across a broad spectrum of acute orthopaedic cases but ranging to complex and chronic MSK conditions.
Helping the OPD Physio Manager and Senior MSK Physiotherapist to support and manage a team of MSK physios including new graduates, rotational base grade staff and students to deliver quality outpatient services People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Full registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
Evidence of extensive musculoskeletal outpatient clinical experience with a minimum at a Level 2 Physiotherapist.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement activities or service evaluation process.
Experience in clinical teaching and supervision of students, level 1/2 Allied Health Professionals and/or Allied Health Assistants.
Demonstrated proficiency in ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
Have the ability to prioritise work, manage a demanding workload, apply high level reasoning skills and have independent professional judgement.
Demonstrated proficient skills and knowledge in the provision of current physiotherapy practice.
A strong commitment to an evidence-based service to provide for consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, case management, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
