Currently we are seeking to appoint to the position of Senior Physiotherapist who, as part of an interdisciplinary team, provides high quality specialised Physiotherapy services using extensive knowledge and a specialist level of skills, to a diverse and complex caseload in the clinical specialty area of rehabilitation and aged care (case load may include stroke, neurology, Parkinson's Disease, falls, rehabilitation, vestibular and/or orthogeriatric patients). This position leads and manages Physiotherapy services to a diverse and complex inpatient and outpatient caseload within the before mentioned rehabilitation and aged care clinical specialties. The Senior Physiotherapist applies a specialised level of clinical knowledge, negotiates and collaborates with the managers and relevant stakeholders to support clinical service delivery and planning.
The current vacancy is 2 days a week on a Thursday and Friday (0.4 FTE) commencing in late January 2025 for 12 months with the possibility of extension. There is the possibility of additional hours commencing from 5/1/2024 full-time until mid-January 2025 if suits applicant's availability and can be negotiated. The clinical area allocated for this leadership role can be negotiated.
