Senior Php Engineer

I'm working with a client in the US Cyber Security space who is currently in an exciting scale-up phase. So plenty of room for growth and progression They are looking to bring on an experienced Senior PHP engineer to join their growing Australian-based team.
The right candidate will have experience and be comfortable working in data with a deep understanding of SQL. They should be able to comfortably perform and contribute code to code reviews with confidence. They should have excellent knowledge and experience of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS. Along with expert commercial experience working with PHP and the ZEND framework (Laminas).
Other skills you'll need to succeed in this role are: - Experience working with relational databases (SingleStore/MEMSQL a bonus)
- Experience maintaining applications on Linux platforms in cloud environments
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs, deep familiarity with REST and the HTTP protocol
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with vulnerability scanning technologies on any part of the tech stack (e.g. SCA, SAST, DAST, IAST, VM Scanning, Container, etc.)
- Experience with ExtJS
- Experience working in cloud environments, ideally AWS
- Experience working with data analytics and/or data science
The right candidate will be comfortable implementing the above in a fully autonomous remote environment, working with teams across different time zones.
