The new project will be building new features on some of the extensions dealing with global tech giants (Google, Meta, Youtube, and more).
Tech stack: PHP, Laravel, AWS, DevOps, Docker, PHPunit, Event Driven Architecture.
Salary: is NegotiableWFH: Fully remote (Only within Australia)Status: Australian Citizen or Permanent ResidentType: SaaS | Product | PaaSBuilding: platforms, products, DevOps infrastructure and extending out functionalities.About the Role: Looking for multiple Senior engineers (either backend OR full stack) who have in-depth experience with backend programming from planning, designing, developing, testing, and deployment.Heavily involved in AWS.Event Driven Architecture.Unit Testing on PHPunit or Test Driven Development (TDD).Working on high-performance platform, enhancements, extensions, APIs, and adding on new customized features.Working with Management and development team to drive best practices in software development.Create new ideas and bring them to the table!You'll be working on heavy backend development and be given the opportunity to work on the latest frameworks and rolling out the deployment to live production.Key Requirements: Ideally 8 years experience or more in the industry focusing on backend software architecture.Experience with PHP v7.x and v8.x (Need at least 7+ years experience)Experience with Laravel x6 - x10 (Need at least 5+ years experience)SOLID Principles & Design Patterns (important)DockerMySQLEvent Driven Architecture.(AWS) Amazon Web ServicesReact/Typescript is a bonusRelevant qualifications in Software Engineering/DevelopmentUnderstanding and knowledge of unit tests and functional testsUnderstanding of modern software design practicesSolid technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.Experience in writing SQL queriesBonus: If you're experienced in IaC (Infrastructure as code - Terraform, Kubernetes, CloudFormation).
