This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help the Townsville Hospital and Health Service identify potentially suitable applicants for future Pharmacy employment opportunities. Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for future positions. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 12 months.
When a vacancy arises, further participation in other recruitment selection processes (e.g. interview) to assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required.

Integrity | Compassion | Accountability | Respect | Engagement The Pharmacy Department at the Townsville University Hospital is seeking senior-level Pharmacists with varied experience to fill future vacancies. Successful candidates may be required to provide pharmacy services across a 7-day roster (Monday to Sunday) to designated work units. As part of your application please include your roster availability (e.g. ability to work weekends etc.).
Requirements: Possession of a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent). Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA). A health-related post-graduate qualification and/or enrolment in the SHPA residency program would be highly desirable. This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis. Pre-employment checks will be conducted for the successful applicants. About the role: Deliver a high level of professional, client-focused pharmacy services and leadership within an evidence-based, quality, and multidisciplinary health care environment during periods of employee leave within the Pharmacy Department teams. This role may include participation in the clinical weekend roster.
