Currently we are seeking Senior Pharmacists for various Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments.
Joining our team will give you a chance to work with clients to:
Provide comprehensive geriatric care to medical, rehabilitation, orthogeriatric and mental health patientsProvide comprehensive care to a range of general medical and neuro-rehabilitation patientsProvide comprehensive care to surgical patients pre and post-operativelyhelp shape preventative and restorative therapy and recovery programs for women with a range of mental health concerns, including eating disorders; Provide support as they recover from addiction withdrawal including alcohol and other drugs, gambling and gaming; and Support managing a range of acute mental health conditions including depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.  This is an opportunity to help shape a different approach to looking after some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

About the roleYou will work within the pharmacy service provided to Fremantle Hospital and Cockburn Health. You will promote safe, rational and cost-effective drug therapy by providing clinical pharmacy services which include monitoring of the patient's total medication profile, providing drug information and undertaking teaching and research. You will plan, implement and evaluate patient safety and quality of care and ensures practice is in accordance to the Pharmacy Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Pharmacy Board of Australia Codes and Guidelines including the Pharmacy Code of Conduct for Registered Health Practitioners and SMHS policies and guidelines.
