Perform regulatory assessments, undertake monitoring and compliance activities and provide advice for the development of the Northern Territory's upstream petroleum industry.
The successful candidate must have significant experience in resource management and be able to interpret data. Be able to demonstrate experience in conducting audits and inspections as well as reviewing incident investigations. Provide demonstrated experience in managing risks whether they are strategic, compliance or operational in nature. Be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders to negotiate outcomes at all levels as well as work cohesively in a team environment. High level written communication skills, to prepare a range of high level reports, briefings and correspondence. Have strong personal organisation skills, be able to meet deadlines and be able to work unsupervised in remote Northern Territory locations.
