The firm has continued to go from strength to strength firmly establishing itself as a market leader with an exceptional presence in the Australian legal market.The opportunityWe are looking for an experienced Senior Personal Assistant to join our Canberra Office.
This role will act as a Personal Assistant for a team of lawyers, while also providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Practice Group Head of the Commonwealth Government (ComGov) practice.
You will be busy with tasks such as:preparing and delivering detailed financial reports, quarterly reports, general panel reports, and annual audit reports for each ComGov Client relationship;managing ComGov client enquiries and operational tasks, ensuring adherence to deadlines and client specific guidelines;providing substantive dedicated administrative and operational support for active Dept.
of Home Affairs matters;maintaining all files effectively, and manage document tasks such as photocopying and collation;performing various paralegal duties as they arise, including legal research, drafting documents, attending meetings, and liaising with clients;monthly billing using our file management system, Aderant; andproviding general administrative assistance, including calendar management, meeting arrangement and drafting correspondence, to the broader team.To succeed in this role, you'll have:experience supporting a Partner or executive, and their wider team;excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail;demonstrated strong organisational skills with a mature, proactive approach;the ability to obtain AGSVA baseline clearance; andexperience using Aderant and iManage (or similar) is highly desirable but not essential.How to applyTo apply, please submit your CV via the 'Apply' function.
