This role offers a chance to contribute significantly to environmental protection in Victoria, fostering partnerships across government, industry, and the community.
In this role you will: Assess and issue development licences and complex discharge applications under the Environment Protection Act 2017.Collaborate with various divisions to set appropriate licence conditions.Support continuous improvement in Permissioning processes and policies.Provide technical expertise and occasionally mentor team members through peer reviews.Skills and experience: Senior-level experience in Permissioning, preferably within government.Knowledge of the Environment Protection Act 2017 and experience in assessing complex environmental applications.Experience leading multidisciplinary assessments (work approvals, developing licenses, environmental impact assessments etc).Ability to coordinate large groups of specialists from different disciplines.Click the "Apply" button to submit your application.
