About The Role:
Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Compare the Market is seeking a skilled Senior Performance Media Manager to join our dynamic Digital Marketing team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for the implementation, optimisation, and reporting of all digital marketing activities, including SEM and programmatic. You will have the opportunity to drive exceptional results and growth through data-driven strategies.
As the Senior Performance Media Manager, you'll be a hands-on digital expert with a passion for ppc, programmatic display, and native advertising. You'll bring a solid understanding of SEM activities across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, and Search Ads 360, ideally from an operations or agency background. Your inquisitive and commercially minded approach will drive continuous testing of platforms and creatives, ensuring we stay at the forefront of the industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend strategic vision with hands-on execution, making a significant impact on our digital marketing efforts and driving our business forward.
What You'll Do:

Champion performance media activities across the business, becoming a key point of contact, evangelist, and executor for SEM/programmatic marketing campaigns across all Compare the Market assets, ensuring all campaigns meet budget and performance requirements.
Ideate, set up, optimise, and report on all performance campaigns.
Work with wider marketing and data teams to build and maintain a range of audience segments to improve targeting in our performance campaigns.
Leverage first party and third-party data for targeting and insights. Dive into data to segment and find patterns in large datasets and theorise ways to exploit those trends.
Leverage algorithms and AI across Google Marketing Platform campaigns. Measure performance and optimisation, providing insights into the best strategies and tactics available to drive business outcomes.
Be responsible for campaign trafficking via our ad server and collaboration with internal data teams to ensure proper tracking, automation, and media attribution across all channels.
Influence, negotiate, and manage multiple programmatic media buys across various lines of inventory and creative types.
Manage performance and post-campaign analysis reporting, including the preparation of board reports.
Maintain a sound understanding of all existing and new developments across the programmatic landscape and technologies.
Build and develop strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

Extensive SEM account management experience.
Demonstrated in-platform experience pulling the levers across SA360, DV360, and CM360.
Proven ability to manage campaigns and drive projects from conception through to implementation and post-analysis.
Experience working with data and reporting platforms, particularly GMP.
Experience in developing and recommending paid media strategies, including audience segmentation, spend allocation between channels, and biddable strategy.
Experience working in the health, utilities, insurance, or financial service sectors.
Experience working with algorithms, machine learning, and AI.
Excellent data analysis skills and capable of manipulating large datasets to obtain insights.
Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
Specific experience in the banking, finance, and insurance and/or technology industry, and associated understanding and knowledge of the current and emerging regulatory, commercial, technology, and operational trends (valuable but not essential).
