We are actively sourcing two (2) experienced Senior People Partners to join our People Partnerships Team within the SVHA People and Culture Team. Reporting to the Head of People Partnering- SVHS, you will provide consistent advice and support to managers and employees regarding all people related matters.
Your role will offer guidance on case management of matters regarding workforce procedures such as grievances, misconduct and performance improvement and assist your key stakeholders in change management initiatives. With a high degree of attention to detail, you will interpret and advise on policy directives, Enterprise Agreements and relevant legalisation.
Key responsibilities of the role: Provide professional human resource services that is consistent with St Vincent's people and culture strategy.
Partner with the business on key projects and initiatives particularly in relation to organizational change
Drive a people and performance-focused culture by providing accurate, relevant advice and guidance in all aspects of P&C including IR/ER, OD, Attraction and Retention
Act as expert advisor to the business in the application of P&C/HR policies and procedures in compliance with awards, agreements, accreditation standards and legislation
Advise and assist with employee relations matters including supporting managers with performance and conduct matters, management of grievances and complaints, and undertaking investigations. This may include developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships with unions and representation on behalf of SVHA before the FWC
Engage and broker services from the broader P&C team to ensure the most efficient and accurate employee experience.
Ensure compliance with P&C/HR policies.
Things that work for us: Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Business / People Partner ideally within the Healthcare sector
Proven success delivering the full scope of operational HR services in a similar large, complex environment
Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS, learning management systems (LMS), rostering and other HR and Microsoft Office applications
Strong stakeholder relationships with a passion for building further connections
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and inspire others through coaching and mentoring
Effective management of challenging situations and people while maintaining frequent stakeholder communication and oversight
Outcome focussed with Innovation & Improvement mindset
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources / Business and/or related field
Current 2024 Flu Vaccine (or the willingness to receive) and a minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations
