Volvo Group Australia manages the manufacturing, distribution and operation of well-known brands such as Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, UD Trucks, Volvo Bus, Volvo Penta, Volvo Construction Equipment and Volvo Financial Services.
We're seeking a proactive Senior People and Culture Business Partner for our Sydney Minto Distribution (SML) Center— this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to grow within a global, iconic brand. In this role, you'll lead People & Culture initiatives, partnering with leaders to drive a people-centric culture and capability uplift as you support the implementation of industry leading technologies. You'll identify opportunities to support business outcomes and manage major change projects and world class processes. Additionally, you'll lead the Health, Safety & Well-being network across six APAC sites, collaborating with regional leaders and specialists to promote safety leadership, competence development and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include: Drive alignment between People & Culture (P&C) plans and business objectives, building strong relationships with leaders, peers, and employees.Act as a strategic business partner, supporting change management efforts and fostering organisational development to meet short- and long-term goals.Utilise best practices in talent mapping and management, compensation, industrial relations, employee relations and safety to achieve strategic outcomes.Coach and support leaders in managing P&C matters, providing creative solutions to resolve complex business challenges and provide facilitation and training as required.Lead safety initiatives across SML APAC, promoting a culture of risk mitigation, active care and collaboration within the network.Use data-driven insights to inform decisions and collaborate with regional and global P&C networks to ensure alignment, compliance, and best practices.Who are you? Extensive experience as a forward-thinking and commercially savvy People & Culture expert, with a proven track record of leading and driving successful change initiatives.Proven ability to work independently with diverse and dispersed stakeholders, managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Demonstrated ability to navigate complex conversations at all levels of the organisation, effectively managing diverse perspectives and driving alignment on key business issues.Strong understanding of industrialised work environments, with comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Agreement frameworks and their applications.Passionate about developing commercially focused, values-driven leadership and fostering talent development at all levels.What's in it for you?
