Job Description - Senior People & Culture Business Partner (262391) Location: Perth CBD, WA

About the Role
In this hands-on role, you will work directly with the Operations Manager, project leadership, and site teams to foster a productive and engaged workforce while ensuring compliance with workplace legislation and industrial agreements.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and project leaders to deliver robust HR support throughout every stage of project execution.
This includes providing expert counsel on people & culture, employee relations, and industrial relations matters.Serve as the primary contact for all matters related to employee relations, shaping conversations around performance management and providing guidance on conflict resolution.Drive engagement initiatives to maintain a positive workplace culture.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, enterprise agreements, and project-specific requirements.Collaborate with safety and wellbeing teams to promote workforce health and wellbeing.Deliver presentations on P&C topics (e.g., EEO, Enterprise Agreements).Ensure accurate record-keeping and data compliance.Contribute to annual people management programs (e.g., performance reviews, remuneration planning).To excel in this role, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline (desirable).Significant experience in a Senior P&C Business Partner or similar role, preferably on large scale resources/oil & gas projects.Comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and workforce mobilisation.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.A practical, solutions-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.Previous experience working in a site-based, full-time role is highly desirable.What we offer: Diverse opportunities to grow, back yourself, and achieve.The chance to join a 6,000+ strong organisation owned by the CIMIC Group, one of the world's leading international contractors.Pathways for you to succeed and the space for you to carve your own journey.A culture that values diversity and innovation, evolving with market changes and new technologies.What makes you right for UGL: Genuine concern for safety.Ability to provide a safe, supportive, and positive workplace.Capacity to flourish in a high-performance environment.An innovative mindset and a willingness to challenge the norm.A belief that success and value are driven by real teams where everyone has a role to play.About Us: UGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services within rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water, and defence markets.
