Senior People & Capability Coordinator Department of Parliamentary Services Fixed term, full time parental leave backfill role until 28 July 2025 PoV 4 - $92,332 - $104,762 base salary range About the Role
The Senior People & Capability Coordinator provides high-level administration and project support to the Human Resources team.
Key responsibilities: Lead the HR coordination and administration of the employee experience Including: Oversee the administrator and maintenance functions of existing HR platforms/systems. onboarding/offboardingnew starter document managementend to end recruitment and selection coordination Develop user guides, manuals and other materials which define P&C processes and procedure for within the team and to our client base. Contribute to the design, implementation, and coordination of P&C initiatives and interventions to support strategic business initiatives ensuring their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline, and budget parameters. About you
You will ideally bring a track record of success in providing high-level administration support and project coordination with a proven ability to display initiative, self-manage, be responsive and achieve required outcomes in a timely manner, along with:
Demonstrable experience in working with a variety of People Systems (eRecruitment, qualification and police checks, HRIS and databases) High-level research and analytical skills with the ability to apply problem-solving to resolve employee and system issues in a timely and thoughtful manner. Demonstrated understanding of the P&C function and experience triaging HR related enquires to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner and to a high standard. Sound communication, interpersonal and diplomacy skills including the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully and to build and maintain relationships at all levels. We offer hybrid work and are working in the office three days per week to capitalise on our collaborative working environment.
