The Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission (MHWC) is a new accountability body in the mental health and wellbeing system recommended by the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System (the Royal Commission). The MHWC's responsibilities include monitoring government's progress in reforming the system and ensuring the system meets the expectations of people with lived experience of mental illness or psychological distress, their families, carers and supporters.
New position, apply your best practice HR knowledge and skills!About the role: Reporting to the Manager Executive Services, the Senior People and Culture Officer is a newly created position and will be responsible for delivering, monitoring and evaluating the human resources and people and culture practices across the Mental Health & Wellbeing Commission. 
About us: The MHWC is a core feature of the new architecture for Victoria's mental health and wellbeing system. The MHWC is an independent body to monitor and report on the performance, quality and safety of the mental health and wellbeing system; hold government to account with the ability to initiate its own inquiries into matters that support its objectives; handle and investigate complaints about mental health and wellbeing service delivery; and exemplify and enable lived experience leadership. 
How you'll make a difference:  Our successful candidate will be proactive and passionate about driving best practice HR management and will demonstrate a history of managing Employee Relations matters. Supporting organisational change processes within business areas will be an advantage.
