About the opportunity Abergeldie is looking for a talented and experienced Senior People and Culture Business Partner to join our team in Olympic Park.
In this role, you will play a key role in supporting our stakeholders on a large joint venture program.
This is a true generalist role where you will be hands on across all aspects of HR.
Day to day you will;
Partner with managers to provide day-to-day support on all HR matters, including workforce planning, employee relations, and policy interpretation.Support managers in implementing effective performance management practices, including coaching on goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.Conduct regular site visits to build relationships, understand team needs, and address HR-related queries.Manage employee lifecycle events such as probation reviews, promotions, and exits.Prepare employment contracts and manage onboarding processes ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.Contribute to and enhance HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices and organisational needs.Maintain accurate employee records and prepare insightful HR reports and metrics to support effective decision-making.Proactively identify workforce needs and collaborate with managers to implement solutions that support team effectiveness and program objectives.Drive and contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee experience and support program priorities.What you'll bring to the team: Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.Experience in a Business Partner role, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry.Strong understanding of Australian employment law and best practices.Proven experience in managing employee relations and performance management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.A proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Why you should work with us Our people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we make sure that this is the kind of place where great people enjoy working for the long term.
