Opal HealthCare is currently seeking a Senior People & Culture Business Partner in Victoria.
Reporting to the National People & Culture Manager, this role will partner with key operational stakeholders to provide support, guidance and solutions to people matters including performance, engagement, retention, development and industrial and employment relation matters.
This role will also be responsible for leading the Victorian P&C team in creating, driving and delivering on People & Culture strategic initiatives.

Key goals and areas of accountability:
Leadership of the Victorian team of Business Partners/Advisors in the successful delivery of P&C initiatives.
Development and implementation of P&C strategies that align with the company's overall vision and business objectives.
Partnering with key operational stakeholders to provide specialist advice and coaching on effective people management.
Full oversight and responsibility for all IR / ER matters for the state of Victoria including bargaining for future enterprise agreements.
Driving positive team engagement and culture both within the People & Culture team and throughout the business.

What we're seeking:
5-8 years demonstrated experience within Senior People & Culture positions.
Strong technical expertise within ER/IR, performance management, and wider HR space.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, team members and external partners.
Tertiary qualifications within a HR or related discipline.
Knowledge of the health / aged care sectors would be highly advantageous.
Note: This role does require travel across the state of Victoria from time to time.
