About the opportunity Westgold is on the lookout for a dedicated and people-driven People Advisor to join our team at Fortnum Gold Operations on a permanent 4/3 roster. Westgold's operations at Fortnum are located in the Bryah Basin stratigraphy approximately 150km northwest of Meekatharra.
Reporting into the Superintendent of People, Westgold is resourcing for a Senior People Advisor on a permanent 4 days on, 3 days off roster (site-based). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality advisory support through generalist HR activities to business units and act as the primary point of contact for employees with people queries or issues.
The role includes Support the understanding and application of people processes, including performance management, employee engagement, learning development, and coaching.Facilitate employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary outcomes, and actions.Review and revise HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and address current and future business needs.Deliver cyclical people-related activities and initiatives including market and performance-based remuneration reviews, salary reviews, and provide recommendations consistent with internal strategy.Collaborate with the broader team to ensure alignment with corporate and divisional HR practices and priorities.Interpret and advise on relevant Awards, Industrial Agreements, legislation, policies, and procedures.Ensure activity relating to IR/ER management is accurately documented and tracked to contribute to reporting and analytics.Support the Injury Management Coordinator for Workers Compensation claims, Non-Work-related illness and injury, redeployment of personnel, fitness for work, and return to work activities.Engage in continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, researching solutions, and implementing changes.What do I need?
