Overview MoTeC, a Bosch company, is a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist automotive electronics products and solutions for the global motorsport industry. We are looking for an experienced Senior PC Tools software engineer to join our product development team. The position will provide you an opportunity to work with a collaborative team on interesting and technically challenging automotive product development work, enabling professional development and growth.
This role involves all aspects of the SDLC. Your primary responsibilities will include developing new and/or extending existing PC software features to support our wide range of hardware and motorsports related customers. This is primarily an 'on-site' role located at MoTeC's R&D Headquarters in South Croydon, with a degree of flexible working arrangements and company benefits.
We are a passionate team and are looking for someone with passion and drive when it comes to software development.
Position Requirements A minimum of 5+ years' experience developing commercial C++ software (Windows) Experience developing & debugging within the Visual Studio (Windows) environment Experience with the Git version control system Working knowledge of the Unix command line Tertiary (or equivalent) qualification in an Engineering or Computer Science related field. Highly Desirable / Valued Working knowledge of CI/CD automated systems (TeamCity, Jenkins) Working knowledge of Docker (or equivalent container technology) Front-end web development frameworks (React, Vue) + Node.js Familiarity with ATL/COM frameworks Experience with or application of artificial intelligence technology An ability to understand customer requests and propose innovative technical solutions An ability to work effectively with other team members. A desire to continuously improve skills and techniques. A collaborative mindset and desire to contribute wherever required to ensure on time project delivery and success. We are looking for someone with a can-do approach who is happy to roll their sleeves up and be a part of the team.
