about the company The company is a Global Fortune 500 organisation that is listed on the European stock exchange.
The have worldwide presence, a solid brand and reputation and an established work-force in Australia and New Zealand.
This role replaces a permanent staff who is leaving the organisation.
Due to the urgency of a smooth handover, a temp who can start immediately will only be considered at this point in time.
There will be an option for permanent conversion based on satisfactory work performance.
Hybrid working arrangements is also possible for this role, with 2 days in their office at Gepps Cross and 3 days working from home allowed.
about the job In this role you will work as a team to support the Payroll function and ensure efficient and accurate processing and reporting of end-to-end payroll for 2500 employees in Australia and New Zealand.
Payroll runs are 4 times a month and more than 500 payroll to process each time.
Time and attendance are clocked via Kronos, while payroll software used is Ramco.
about the manager / team This role reports to the Payroll Team Lead, while there is another Senior Payroll Specialist in this small team of 3. skills & requirements for the role You must come equipped with minimum 5 years of large payroll processing experience for at least 500 headcount or more.
Knowledge of Payroll Procedures and systems, and experience with time and attendance management is crucial.
You should also possess an understanding of Awards and statutory requirements.
This role is well-suited for somebody who has a mindset of continuously seeking to improve processes, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
