Senior Payroll Specialist

Senior Payroll OfficerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to manage our payroll operations with precision and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:End-to-End Payroll Management: Handle all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Maintain a thorough understanding of Australian Payroll tax and legislative requirements, with a specific focus on Superannuation compliance.Utilize ADP systems effectively; prior experience with ADP is advantageous.Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all payroll activities, maintaining discretion in handling sensitive information.Stay updated with Fair Work Act (FWA) and Australian Taxation Office (ATO) relevant legislation.Manage end-of-month statutory payments, including Payroll Tax and Superannuation.Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating initiative.Assist in reviewing and answering payroll queries promptly and accurately.Conduct payroll and end-of-year reconciliations, including Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, and Sick Leave reconciliations.Ensure accurate timekeeping, costing, and adjustment of hours and rates.Qualifications:Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within Australia.Strong working knowledge of Australian Payroll tax and legislative requirements.Familiarity with ADP systems is a plus.Exceptional attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.Effective communication skills and strong record-keeping and organizational abilities.Ability to comply with relevant legislation and regulations (e.g., Superannuation guarantee, ATO, National Employment Standards, STP reporting).We are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
