The Senior Payroll Officer will analyse, investigate and resolve complex payroll processing problems to meet agreed time standard and accurately perform payroll functions including rostering and HR master data maintenance in a timely manner.About Corporate Enterprise Solutions:This exciting job opportunity falls under the Corporate Enterprise Solutions branch within the Department of Health and provides solutions and services that support Queensland Health's enterprise corporate applications while also supporting the payroll transactional processes.
This application suite includes the largest integrated rostering and payroll solution in the public sector and the finance, business and logistics solution and management environment.
What we are looking for: Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary Human Resource Management issues, as well as the ability to access and interpret relevant industrial awards, agreements, statutory regulations and legislation relating to payroll.Demonstrated advanced conceptual, analytical and problem-solving abilities in relation to complex payroll and establishment issues including utilising a risk management approach to the prioritisation and management of complex cases.Proven ability to support and mentor payroll staff and contribute to ongoing individual and team development and effectiveness and the achievement of agreed performance objectives.Demonstrated advanced interpersonal, communication and client services skills with a diverse range of clients.
