As the Senior Payroll Officer, you will deliver accurate advice and timely services while ensuring compliance with all payroll-related legislation and standards. You will lead payroll operations, provide strategic reports to senior management, and support our commitment to safety, wellbeing, and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Payroll Administration: Process payroll, including monthly, weekly, and EOFY requirements.Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, prepare payroll journals, and provide detailed reports on turnover, leave, wages, workcover and terminations.Leadership: Guide and mentor the Payroll Officer to deliver efficient payroll services.End-of-Month/EOFY Duties: Manage PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, and EOFY reconciliations.Customer Service: Respond to payroll queries with accuracy and professionalism.To be successful in the role: Qualifications: Certificate in bookkeeping, accounting, or business administration (or equivalent experience).Experience: Proficiency with payroll systems - IChris highly advantageous.Skills: Strong award interpretation, leave management, and communication with varied stakeholders.Attributes: A proactive, safety-first mindset, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.You will be rewarded with being a part of a collaborative, friendly and supportive team as well as having work-from-home flexibility with 3 days in the office and 2 from home and a competitive salary.
