The Role:
Due to consistent growth, we are recruiting for a Senior Payroll Officer within the Payroll team. Working as part of a small + supportive team & reporting into a superb Payroll Manager who really supports learning & development at every opportunity, you will take charge of a weekly end-to-end payroll, typically state-based and covering 400 - 500 employees.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Calculating weekly payroll, including standard deductions and taxes within tight deadlines. Determining time worked from timesheets and verifying appropriate authorisations. Accurately updating payroll data in the payroll systems (ADP), showing all necessary information Monitoring the performance of the payroll system and payroll procedures, making recommendations on enhancements to work processes in order to ensure optimal system functionality increasing accuracy and efficiencies. Ensuring payroll processes are appropriately documented ensuring accuracy, compliance and interpretation with awards, legislation, policies and organisational requirements Interpreting company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures. The Candidate:
You will have experience in a weekly, end-to-end payroll environment working under awards/ EBA's.
Previous ADP payroll system knowledge Minimum of 4 years end-to-end payroll processing experience Weekly pay run experience Minimum of 600-person weekly pay run experience Strong knowledge of EBA's & Awards Strong Payroll Administration experience Good knowledge of current payroll legislation TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN OBTAINING THIS AMAZING ROLE...
