As our Senior Payroll Officer, reporting to the Payroll Team Lead you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the fortnightly payroll for Australian based employees, processing of statutory payments including WorkCover, Payroll Tax and Superannuation, resolving complex payroll issues and working closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to achieve business needs.ResponsibilitiesDeliver accurate and timely payroll within the business, to ensure ASC meets all legal requirements regarding payroll, adherence to processing and reporting timelines.Produce and deliver payroll reporting obligations in accordance with financial year reporting and legislative requirements.Provide accurate payroll related information to relevant stakeholders.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to payroll, keeping up to date with federal, state and local regulations and delivery on all requirements.Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism.Engagement with various stakeholders with clear communications, and effective resolution of issues and requests.About you2+ years demonstrated experience with high volume payroll in a large complex environment (Experience in a Senior Payroll role is highly desirable).Demonstrated knowledge of payroll legislative requirements and other relevant employment legislation requirements.Demonstrated Knowledge of awards/EBAs.Demonstrated experience with Chris21 payroll systems (highly desirable).Proficient in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.Impeccable attention to detail.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of organisational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and ability to manage multiple priorities.EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
