Senior Payroll Officer

We are excited to collaborate with a respected local education provider in South Sydney, who is looking to recruit a Senior Standalone Payroll Officer for a 6-month contract through AccountAbility. About the Role: This full-time position will be based in the office, conveniently offering parking and excellent public transport connections. Key Responsibilities: Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 350-400 employeesEnter timesheets manuallyManage onboarding, terminations, and final paymentsCalculate PAYG, tax, and superannuationCommunicate with senior management regarding forecasts and reportingAddress inquiries and resolve issues effectivelyThe Ideal Candidate: 3+ years of experience in a standalone payroll officer roleProficient in manual payroll processesHands-on, proactive, and able to work independentlyApproachable with strong communication skills at all staff levelsMust possess the right to work and be open to potential contract extension beyond 6 monthsWhat We Offer: A competitive hourly rate of $50 per hour plus superannuationWeekly pay through AccountAbilityThe opportunity to gain valuable experience in a well-regarded educational organizationIf you're ready to make an impact in the education sector and meet the qualifications above, we'd love to hear from you! please contact Kelly at AccountAbility.
