Senior Payroll Officer

Account Ability are pleased to be working with a global logistics company based in Sydney CBD. This well respected organisation is looking to recruit a senior payroll officer on a two month contract via Accountability.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately process approved timesheets for payroll.Apply in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and Awards to correctly handle allowances, overtime, and various pay codes.Generate and manage wage reports.Secure approvals for wage reports.Make corrections and adjustments to pays in line with EAs/Awards.Set up new employee records and manage employee changes.Calculate and prepare termination payments.Address and resolve payroll queries from site personnel.Draft calculations for manual payments and process approved redundancy payments.Handle child support deductions.Perform any additional tasks as assigned.The right candidate: Attention to detail and accuracySelf-directed and motivatedAbility to work in a small team in a high volume and time-sensitive environmentStrong analysis, interpretation and documentation skillsAbility to work with a diverse range of stakeholdersFunctional understanding and experience with i Chris/Chris 21 payroll What we offer: A competitive hourly rate of $45 per hour superWeekly pay via Account AbilityValuable experience working in fast paced environment If you would like any further information or to apply please get in touch with Kelly at Account Ability Account Ability are pleased to be working with a global logistics company based in Sydney CBD.
