Senior Payroll Officer

Are you looking to step into a new Senior Payroll Officer opportunity? I am working on a new Senior Payroll Officer role that would be suited to experienced end to end payroll processing candidates with Micropay experience.
This role processes pay for 300+ employees on a fortnightly and monthly basis using Micropay and Mitrefinch.
You will also be responsible for all related payroll reporting, tax calculations, month end processing, etc.
You will be working in a structured and process driven environment.
You will report into a tenured and industry specialist financial director and be supported by another senior payroll officer and the wider senior accounting team.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple divisions including finance, HR, IT, etc.
Full time permanent role, based in Rydalmere (parking available).
Flexible hybrid working is offered and the role is paying between $110,000 - $120,000 + super depending on experience.
Key responsibilitiesProcessing fortnightly & monthly payroll for 300+ employees.Prepare and lodge accurate monthly payroll tax and superannuation reports.Reconcile and complete annual PAYG Payments Summaries in ATO's STP.Prepare month end reconciliations and reports and provide information to HR.Maintenance and updating of employee files and payroll details.Generate reports on leave (sick, annual, long service, etc).Liaise and resolve payroll issues/general enquiries.Interpret awards and stay abreast of payroll legislation and awards.Assist the wider finance team on payroll related projects and ad hoc duties.Ideally have 5+ years end to end payroll experience.Knowledge & experience working with Micropay.Extensive knowledge of payroll tax laws and workplace legislation.Ability to work to strict deadlines and maintain up to date employee records with confidentiality front of mind.Self motivated and proactive problem solver.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
