They are forward-thinking, flexible, and understand everyone has unique responsibilities and commitments, empowering their staff to thrive both professionally and personally.The roleA newly created Senior Payroll position to head the Australian operations and report to the Group Payroll Manager. The successful candidate will be supported in the role and trained to lead the payroll function and eventually have a Payroll officer report to them.Responsibilities:End to end payroll processing including balancing and reporting, new hires, and termination processing.Knowledge of payroll legislation, including Super, payroll tax & STP.Reporting, reconciliations, super calculations, and maintenance.Liaising with internal stakeholders and responding to questions in a timely manner.Compliance with Modern Awards & EBA Interpretation.Remain current with changes, share knowledge, and ensure policies and procedures are up to date.Thrive on adding value and sharing with fellow team members and other departments.Experience with manual timesheets.About youExcellent communication skills.3+ years of experience in payroll and Australian standards.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Solid grasp of accounting basics, manual processing.Hunger to learn and grow your career.If this sounds like you, please apply or get in touch with Georgie on 0416 328 928 for further information.
