We support this through our Retail, Community Services, Enterprise and Corporate divisions.About the roleALPA is looking for an experienced payroll professional who is well-organised with keen attention to detail and strong analytical abilities to join our Darwin based Payroll Team.Coach and lead direct reports and all team members to deliver best practice payroll; and to ensure they are engaged and delivering on team and individual resultsOversee the processing of admin pays on a fortnightly basis, delivering a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and ensuring all deadlines are metSupport the Payroll Manager and the HRIS Implementation Team to successfully launch our new HRIS pay module and ensure a smooth transition for all stakeholdersAllocate relevant expenses to the appropriate cost centres with precisionManage and communicate all related tasks connected with CBB (our salary packaging provider)Carry out End of Month procedure for nominated payrolls by the due dateProcess accurate and timely lodgement/payment of payroll tax and PAYGSkills and experienceA minimum of three years' experience in payroll services (workforce of 300+)Proven experience with multiple industrial awards and time keeping systemsAbility to coach and lead payroll officersIntermediate skills of Microsoft ExcelExperience using Navision, D365, Jet Reporting is desirable as is exposure to HRIS implementationHighly effective interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities, and ethnic originsBenefitsCompetitive salary with ability to salary package up to $15,900 p.a.
