Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to support our client's payroll operations. In this role, you will work closely with the Payroll Manager and collaborate with a small team focused on administrative payroll functions. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll processing during a transition period involving system upgrades and process changes.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the fortnightly payroll, managing an increase in the number of employees processed.Manage monthly payroll operations for a smaller group of employees.Administer employee incentive plans and ensure timely payments.Collaborate with team members to support seamless payroll processing.Adapt to changes in payroll processes due to the ongoing system overhaul.Ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations and assist in improving payroll systems.Essential Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in payroll leadership (experience in a similar industry is a plus).Familiarity with payroll systems and administrative functions. Experience with SAP is advantageous.Ability to work independently and manage payroll tasks in a dynamic environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.Flexibility and adaptability to changing processes and organizational needs.Desirable: Experience in industries with a large blue-collar workforce, or similar payroll management experience.Knowledge of payroll regulations and employee benefits, particularly in relation to long service leave or incentive plans.Work Environment & Benefits: A collaborative and flexible work environmentOption to work remotely two days per week (with some in-office requirements).One flexi day per month to support work-life balance.Flexible work hours.Opportunity to be part of a company undergoing transformation, offering career growth potential.How to Apply:
